This policy explains what personal data MAJAL 24, run by [Company legal name], State of Kuwait, holds about you, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, Kuwaiti mobile number and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
Your profile: experience, education, skills, languages, the areas you want to work in, and any CV or documents you upload.
Your applications: which jobs and tasks you applied for, and the stage each one has reached.
For companies: the company's details, its members, the documents sent for verification, its listings and its payment records. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
Technical data: device and browser type, IP address and the pages you use, kept to run, secure and improve the service.

Why we use it

To run your account and show your applications to the companies you apply to.
To verify companies and moderate listings, so job seekers can trust what they see.
To send you the notifications you choose, and messages about your account.
To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

Who sees it

A company sees your profile and documents only when you apply to it. Your profile is not indexed by search engines.
The company registered as your current employer cannot find your profile.
Our service providers process data on our behalf, for hosting, file storage, email, SMS and payments. Some of them store data outside Kuwait; each is bound to protect it and to use it only for us.
Authorities, when Kuwaiti law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise it within [30] days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records, which are kept for the period the law sets.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing [privacy email]; some of it you can change yourself in your account. You can turn optional notifications off at any time. We answer within [30] days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and every table is protected by row-level access rules. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes

We will show the date of the latest version here, and tell account holders about material changes before they take effect.
